
SKATING PROGRAM
Our program offers a dynamic path for skaters of all levels, blending skill development, fitness, and fun. With expert guidance and a supportive community, athletes gain confidence, improve technique, and discover the excitement of speed skating in a safe environment.

TRAINING SEASON

Ice Season & Competitions

Local, provincial, regional and national meets

On-ice practice 3x weekly

Ice training on holidays and Pro-D days
April-August
Dryland & Ice Sessions

Indoor and outdoor dryland training scheduled 2 to 3x a week

Ice training at Planet Ice Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam Recreation Centre
NOTE:

High Performance Elite (Group1) Skaters are required to have a minimum of 3 of Sessions per Week (Mandatory Registration)

HP Development Skaters (Group 2A) are required to have a minimum of 3 of Sessions per Week (Mandatory Registration)

Advanced Development Skaters (Group 2B) have 3 Sessions per Week

Development Skaters (Group 3) have 3 Sessions per Week

Learn to Skate Skaters (LTSS) is 10 sessions per season once a week
