LEARN TO SPEED SKATE Program
This very successful program offered through the Lightning Speed Skating Club is a 10 week program for youth who are interested in the sport, but not yet ready to commit to the full season.
Skaters participate in 1 session per week on Sunday’s at Planet Ice Coquitlam.
Session 1 – Can be arranged based on your availability and club session schedule Skate and Equipment fitting: Can be arranged

TIME : Sunday 8:00 am Planet Ice
PLACE: 2300 Rocket Way Coquitlam (Time and Day may vary due to Covid-19.

FEES: First time registration – $251.00;
includes: • $200.00 ice fees & coaching for one 45 minute sessions per week; plus speed skate rental, if desired. (Skaters in this program are required to wear gloves and a helmet.) • $51.00 BC Speed Skating Association registration (mandatory membership and insurance for skater and one parent)
Participants in LEARN TO SPEED SKATE who wish to join Lightning Speed Skating Club after a program will have the fees they paid applied to full membership & full season skate rentals.
